Bed Tax (Transient Occupancy Tax)

In 1999, the Village of Millersburg adopted an ordinance levying an excise tax on all rents received by establishments located in Millersburg in which one or more rooms are used for accommodation of guests. The rate of tax is three percent (3%) on all rents received. Transient Occupancy Tax (more commonly referred to as Bed Tax) is to be collected by the owner/operator with each booking and remitted to the Village of Millersburg monthly.
